Gifts for guys? Yeah, we’ve all been there.

It’s that time of year again to whip out the “Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!”

Along with the wonderful joys of the end of finals and Christmas break, comes the downside of such a festive holiday:

  1. 1. The indecisiveness of choosing the right gift for a significant other.
  2. 2. Being more in debt than you already are (yup! I’m talking to my fellow college students).

Now, I’m not saying choosing a present for everyone is hard, just the MALE SPECIES. So raise your hand if you agree! It’s okay! We all feel the same way!

I’ve had countless of conversations with my girlfriends about this topic. You can’t exactly find something manly enough, knowing that they would only use it once. We want them to actually like and be impressed with our choices, therefore the burden to search for that one thing that would blow their socks off only increases.

So what’s a solution to this dilemma? There’s no one answer. You could try looking up his interests by taking in his personality or you could even ask his friends. Try thinking of something he would actually use in an everyday situation, maybe a watch or headphones? A tip I have for you, it doesn’t have to be expensive; it just has to be of good quality. Yeah, you’re probably saying, “But good quality = EXPENSIVE.” That’s not true. There are so many products out there that I can guarantee that you will find SOMETHING. Do some research (Google is your best friend) and look up reviews because they ARE helpful.

Just remember, you aren’t forced to give them presents, so either way they would appreciate anything you give them so don’t stress too much. That’s why we plan ahead and figure things out one step at a time because we are calm, cool, and collective. RIGHT? And if things just don’t go right for you, you can never go wrong by buying him the latest game in the market.

GOOD LUCK LADIES! Hope you all have a merry Christmas.

In my opinion, choosing a gift for women is much more difficult. If you are stuck choosing a gift for your male friend, then you have not consider the obvious such as gadgets, electronics, toys(Yes we are still kids on the inside), and cologne. Of course, I’m speaking on behalf of the average guy. There are men who require more thought, but that is something else. Well the moral of the story is that men are not difficult at all and if we were, we are not nearly as difficult as women.
